Located conveniently between Interstate 5 and Highway 134, the Los Angeles Equestrian Center is one of the country’s premier equestrian facilities. With a full staff for management and upkeep, the Center is continually groomed to look its best. Stalls are cleaned two to three times a day by the facility staff, the rubber lined cement wash racks are bleached and scrubbed every two weeks to prevent slick buildup, and the rings are watered and dragged twice a day.

Horses in the care of Ever Wood Stables enjoy the following care:

  • 12×12 box stalls with low cut gates to allow for their heads to hang out.
  • water buckets cleaned three times a week and filled two to three times a day depending on the temperature.
  • four clean, rubber lined crossties plus one in the aisle for horses who prefer a more open space.
  • two hour daily turnout in 15×24 pipe sunpens next to the perimeter trail for social time, acclimation, and some quality California sunshine.
  • 200×100 beautiful tree lined arena overlooking Griffith Park
  • three 100×60 arenas for turnout and longing
  • shaded patio ringside for viewing
  • access to the covered Equidome during the rainy season or when the temperature spikes
  • grain two times a day, hay three times a day, and bran mash on Sundays as an end of the week treat.
  • on site saddlery (link:http://www.lasaddlery.com)
  • the opportunity to ride, lesson, and school in show rings
  • perimeter trail and access to Griffith Park, which adds variety to the program to avoid the horses getting bored or ring sour.
